Yakima Valley Produce Harvest In 2012 Yakima Valley was able to give a total of 171,095 pounds of fresh produce to neighbors in need! Its 2019 and Gleaning is back!

We are searching for farms and volunteers interested in feeding our community! Please contact us if you are interested Gleaning takes advantage of quality produce that is left over after a grower harvests his field, preventing food from going to waste. Gleaning can also occur at processing facilities, farmers markets, produce stands, back yard gardens, and grocery stores. This is where volunteers

come in to save the day! Together, we will pick all the unwanted produce and give it to someone who will no longer be hungry because of it!
