Happy new(ish) year one and all! We’ve been quite silent the last year. We had a hail storm come through early last summer that decimated our crops. Suffice to say our plans for a successful market year were dissolved. Oh well, best laid plans of mice and men, you know?
Since then, we have been dreaming up and working towards new products and services. We are taking the name Misty Mountains Bounty to heart and are headed to work with produce, herbal teas, salves of all sorts, dried herbs for cooking, and other products as our harvest allows. We are working with the bounty of nature for a bountiful life for all.

Warm weather got you thinking about starting seeds, but you know it's still too early in your zone? Try a cold frame!
It is super easy(and cheap) to do, and there are so many plants that love being started outside late winter/ early spring.
We started some outside today with the warm weather, and even though it will snow this week and freeze every night for the next month, these little babies will just keep on sprouting and growing.

Welcome to our journey!
Who are we? We are a family who crazily decided to drop everything to start our dream life and business. My husband and I always talked about our own farm, produce, animals, and homesteading since before we even got married. We wanted to give back to our community and support ourselves. Last year we said why not now? We jumped and sold our house to buy another in a new state.
We craved more for our life and most importantly our daughters. More adventure, more connection to the world around us, and more inspiration from day to day life. We are building everything ourselves from the ground up and learning along the way.
