🚙 Over Memorial Day week, we took a road trip to celebrate Samantha’s birthday. We came home with hundreds of photos, but what those photos don’t always show are the moments in between.
The conversations. The connections. The joy.
We slept under a sky of stars. We explored beautiful valleys, watched eagles and hawks soar overhead, spotted fish and lizards along our journey, and experienced the legendary ice mines that somehow produce ice in the summer months. We tasted local honey, met passionate makers, and even stumbled upon another refill shop, Love Evelyn such a wonderful surprise that highlights we’re part of a much larger community.
Along the way, we met people who take pride in doing things by hand: grinding their own flour, baking fresh bread, crafting cosmetics, blending teas, raising chickens, supporting local farms, and preserving the places they call home. Their passion was inspiring.
This trip reminded us why we do what we do 🌱
Our refill shop isn’t just about containers, products, or transactions. It’s about helping preserve the beauty we were fortunate enough to experience. It’s about supporting thoughtful choices, local communities, and making low-waste living accessible to everyone.
Even on vacation, we never stop caring about the environment. In fact, this trip left us feeling even more energized and grateful to continue serving our community.
