Food for Life Farm is a 140-acre, certified organic, family farm located in northern Darke county near North Star, Ohio. Our goal is to honor God in all that we do. Our family mission is to grow and distribute nutrient-dense, traditional, safe foods that nourish, protect, and support life for improved health and energy. It was a hot night to dig potatoes but there is nothing like fresh potatoes to make a comfort meal. Don’t want to cook meatloaf? It’s National Farm Dog Day! We’ve had many dogs through the years. This one is a favorite greeter for the customers. Who knows his name? Izzy, Dexter, Drake, Rocco or Oscar? We had a surprise visitor today 😃. Lamar has been a customer for over 15 years and missed his order at Dayton this weekend. So he visited the farm! That is loyalty. But more than a customer he has become a friend. Dan and Lamar caught up on how his mom was doing, his desire to get a homestead and of course some talk about Jesus ❤️. The best thing about small businesses and loyal customers is the friendships that are built. Thank you to all who have supported us over the years in your search for quality foods!
