With only three markets left in our season, I’d like to take a moment to express how wonderful this season has been! Our community has shown up and showed our vendors Saturday after Saturday so much love for what they grow, bake, make, cook or sell! I’ve seen so many new, and of course familiar faces come through each Saturday with friends, family and fury friends. The YC Certified market thanks you all for your continued support of us, without you, we couldn’t have remained to be here for the past 19 years. Saturday September 5th, 8am-12noon Townsquare ⛲️ Plumas Street, 4 markets left friends!!! The weather is going to be perfect for the Labor Day Weekend. This weekend there will be two events happening at the same time, Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be having their annual event and walk that will be conducted in the median of Plumas Street. Please be aware of road blocks. Market goers will be able to access the market through the dirt lot closest to the Gauche Aquatics Park. Attention Yuba City Certified Farmers Market Customers & Vendors

We want to make everyone aware that counterfeit $20 and $10 bills have recently been used at the market.

Please take a moment to carefully check any cash you receive. Here are a few things we’ve noticed about the counterfeit $20 bills:

The paper feels thicker and has a different texture than a genuine bill.
The “20” in the lower-right corner is brown and does not have the shiny, color-shifting ink found on authentic $20 bills.

If you use a counterfeit detection pen, test the back of the bill. We have found that some counterfeit bills may pass the pen test on the front but fail when tested on the back.

Our vendors are local small business owners who work hard to serve our community. Passing counterfeit money hurts these businesses and the families who rely on them.

If you are paying with cash, please ensure your bills are genuine before coming to the market. We appreciate everyone’s help in protecting our vendors and keeping the Yuba City Certified Farmers Market a safe and trustworthy place to shop.
