Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is implementing its first-ever closed season for queen conch harvesting, running from September 1st to November 30th, 2026.

Under the new rules, no person may fish for conch during the three-month period.

Hotels and restaurants will be allowed to sell conch only during September. From October 1st through November 30th, the sale of conch is strictly prohibited for everyone, including hotels and restaurants.
