I'm a gardener using my own vegetables or I source my ingredients locally to create unusual and very tasty chutneys that would go well with a simple melted cheese on toast or a fine gourmet meal!!!! I follow the season of the fruits and vegetables, so some of my products are subjects to availability. Creme de la Crepe uses local fresh milk, local free range eggs and Irish butter and oil. Choice is

vast between sweet and savoury. The classic chocolate spread and lemon sugar are on the menu. Specials are changed frequently to add variety. We use the jam and chutney from Pickled in Di**le to spice up a bit the crepe!

Today was my last market of the year! If you ask anyone in business, they will tell you this year wasn’t following the same pattern as previous years. It was overall a good year and what made it good? Everyone that came to me and bought a crepe. Regular customer who doesn’t need to tell me their order because I know it. New customer discovering my crepes. Old and young and in between 😉 thank you all! I love the stories, the friendship that develops over the time of making a crepe, people that taught me something new while chatting. Thank you for showing up for us because you’re the reason why we show up every week. Many weeks I would have said “forget it” but no, I got to the market and there wasn’t a time when I regretted to have shown up. Thanks to my colleagues at the market for the solidarity! So yeah, I’m thankful! Have a great time for the holidays and I shall see you on the 10th of January! Happy Christmas and a great beginning of 2026! Marie

is on this weekend! Yes it’s wet and windy but it won’t be all weekend! Come over and enjoy the atmosphère! I’m ready for it and looking forward being in the heart of the action! My stall in on Grey Lane like previous years. Pass by and say hi! I love that!

One of my favourite months! Beginning of autumn, I love Autumn. Back to school for the kids, back to routine for many. Yes I love September! An indian summer would be great! 😉

To all of you that waited for one of my crepes, to all of you that made me laugh and smile, to all my little friends that shared stories with me, thank you! was good this year but we had to change location and we will have to change location again next year! It had an effect on the overall market and business level but I’m satisfied with my season! Have a great end of the summer, a great autumn, winter and spring and we will see you next June bank holiday weekend! I must say I’m delighted to get Sundays off again but i shall be very excited to see you all again! Castlegregory market and customers, I really like you! ❤️
