This is something we’ve been doing since 2019, refining, adapting and we want to share it with all of you. We contemplate themes at the beginning of each season to tune into what is wanted and needed in the field. Then we create a harmonic playlist for the plants in resonance with those themes.

WE BELIEVE: that soil health = plant health = human health. There is a deep, ancestral and very lost connection between the soil, the plants and us, humans. The word human MEANS red earth/clay/soil. This connection is imperative to our health and future.

Women used to put theirs and their families saliva on seeds before planting them - so that the plants would grow knowing exactly what those human bodies needed to heal and be healthy. Practices long lost in our forever cities and fast food environments.

Without this connection to nature in how we grow - we are producing and ingesting products, not plant medicines.

Our beliefs and philosophies can be summed up as:

1 - LOVE IN. LOVE OUT. What goes into how we grow is what ultimately comes out
2 - SOIL FIRST FARMING. Prioritizing the soil health and soil biome.
3 - ORGANIC & REGENERATIVE. Certified organic and regenerative standards must be the norm.
4 - CONNECTED WITH NATURE. Everything is connected - and we must grow in sun, soil and connected to natural elements.
5 - RADICAL TRANSPARENCY. We must be transparent to earn the trust of the people who consume our products.

Very sadly, due to industry pressures and changes, we have had to move our BC Direct Delivery partner from Herbal Dispatch, who has decided to eliminate brand partners from their platform.

For BC Retailers, you can now find our full product line up at THE HOUSE OF CRAFT. We understand the frustration changes can make for retailers - more admin, different suppliers, different terms etc. But we know THOC has an amazing reputation in the industry and we hope you’ll all agree.

This has been a difficult and expensive transition for us. And we hope you’ll all understand and welcome the change with open arms. We look forward to connecting with you all personally to communicate the changes and remind you of our amazing products for your customers.

WE BELIEVE: that plants are interconnected with their environment - everything from birdsongs, insect life, soil microbes, rain, wind and sun - all effect and contribute to the health of the plants. You cannot separate the plants that grow from the environment they exist in.

It’s why we are such big proponents of outdoor growing. That interconnected relationship has more to do with how a plant medicine functions than most growers will ever acknowledge or even be aware of. Take away nature from the process - you take away the deep ancient connection that exists between environment and plant health.

Humans are the same - change your environment, change your life. Imagine if humans switched positions with plants. If you, as a human, lived in an indoor environment, with no connection to the natural world, fed a cocktail of poisons and stimulants your whole life, how healthy would you be? What other effects would that have in you beyond the physical characteristics?

Now imagine you spent your life connected to nature, outdoors, in a loving environment with birds and insects and your feet in the soil, face in the sun, feeling the wind in your hair and the rain on your cheeks, eating only organic food in a nourishing place?

It is easy to see what would be different. We are no different than plants. Plants need the same things we do to thrive.

We have always believed in organic, regenerative and soil first farming methods. Long before it hit the mainstream. When we say from our soil to your soul….we hope you feel the love, care, intention and strength that comes with that message.

Growing organic and regeneratively, adhering to high standards of craft methodology - these require fierce dedication, unwavering commitment, forfeiting of profit for benefits and quality that no one ever sees or acknowledges and tenacity of spirit. These are warrior actions. Fierce actions - not fluffy ideals. We have to fight for them, against the grain, uphill and upstream.
