💚 MY SKIN'S REAL MVP: COLD-PRESSED CASTOR OIL 💚

After giving my skin some love with a sea moss mask, it was time to call in my striker.

If you know me, you know I always have cold-pressed castor oil nearby. It's one of those products I keep coming back to because my skin absolutely loves it.

Why it's a staple in my routine:

✨ Helps lock in moisture
✨ Leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished
✨ Supports a healthy-looking glow
✨ A little goes a long way
✨ Simple, natural, and versatile

When my skin feels dry, irritated, or like it needs some extra TLC, this is usually the first thing I reach for.

Everyone has that one product they never want to run out of.

After my skin went through a little DRAMA. I decided it was time for some SEAMOSS THERAPY. Sea moss is one of my favourite skincare ingredients because it leaves my skin hydrated, refreshed and nourished.

So this weekend I said, "content creator era activated" 😭

Me: Let me show people how this product works.

puts bentonite clay on face and hair....

Me: Wow, self-care queen ✨

Fast forward to my wax appointment...

The wax touched my face and suddenly my skin said: "Excuse me? We did NOT discuss this." 😩

I was confused because I'm thinking: "Gaby, my sister, did you switch products and forget to tell me?" Because this level of sensitivity was not normal!

The next day I woke up and saw a scar on my face that looked like I had survived an action movie scene 😭. As fine as I am, I cannot be outside looking like this.

Do I call in sick tomorrow?

Lesson learned:
Not every treatment loves every treatment 😂

This is my personal experience and reminder to understand your skin and patch test before trying anything you see on social media 😂
