After 3 years of growing strawberries with absolutely no success… I FINALLY DID IT! 🍓🥳🥳🥳

This is my 9th strawberry plant, and look at her… finally producing fruit! 😭🍓❤️

I honestly couldn’t wait to share the news with my other babies. 😂🌱 So of course, they had to see the first harvest too!

Once these have all grown, it will be our last harvest before we prepare the soil for the Spring cycle. 🌿🌱

And honestly, this little strawberry taught me something:

Don’t give up just because you haven’t seen the results yet. 🌱
Sometimes it takes the 9th try, the 10th try, or even 3 years before you finally see the fruit of your patience.

Keep planting. Keep learning. Keep nurturing.
Your harvest may be closer than you think. 🍓❤️

I know nothing about planting and growing fruits and vegetables - we just going with the flow of nature and learning as we grow

When last did you actually read your food labels? 👀

Let’s have an honest conversation…

When you buy your favourite food, do you actually stop and read the ingredients list?

Or do you recognise the brand, see the packaging and automatically put it in your trolley or order?

Here’s something worth learning:

WHAT does “GENETICALLY MODIFIED” actually mean and WHY are genetically modified ingredients used in some of our foods?

What are all those unfamiliar names on the ingredient list?

How much added sugar is really in the product?

How much sodium?

What percentage of the food is actually made from the ingredients you think you're buying?

And most importantly…

Does what you're putting into your body actually provide what your body needs?

We have become so accustomed to buying certain foods that we sometimes don't even question what is inside them.

But your body doesn't read the front of the packet.

Your body receives the ingredients.

So the next time you're shopping, don't just ask:

"Do I like this?"

Ask:

"What's actually in this?"
"Why is it there?"
"Do I understand what I'm consuming?"
"Is this nourishing my body, or am I simply eating out of habit?"

And here's my question for you:

What an incredible day! ❤️

A huge thank you to Jozi FM for the opportunity to showcase Siza’s Healing Station at the Women’s Day Business Showcase at SOWETO MEAT LOVERS

From the warm welcome and smooth setup to the incredible music and amazing atmosphere — everything was simply smooth sailing. 🎶✨

We met so many wonderful women, made sales, created new connections and, most importantly, made new friends. There was so much laughter, singing and dancing, and the music catered for EVERYONE! 💃🏾🕺🏾

And can we talk about the photographers? 📸
They made us feel so special! They were constantly there capturing those beautiful moments so professionally. We truly felt seen and celebrated.

But what stood out to me most is that Jozi FM is so much more than radio.

They genuinely support and uplift small businesses. ❤️

Seeing them gift a Suzuki named Nokwanda to a small business owner in Soweto who had been struggling to service clients because of mobility challenges was incredibly inspiring. This is what community support looks like. 🙏🏾

This was our first business showcase in Soweto, and we are so grateful that more people now know about Siza’s Healing Station. 🌿

We are excited to build relationships with our customers in Soweto, create more connections and hopefully be part of many more opportunities like this.

YOUR BODY MAY BE ASKING FOR A DIFFERENT KIND OF MORNING. 🌿🧘🏾‍♀️

What if your morning didn’t have to start with caffeine, sugary juice and rushing from one thing to the next?

I had the privilege of serving herbal tea at another beautiful healing session hosted by Mamfiso in Orlando West this past weekend 🌿

It was a warm, beautiful day filled with deep conversations, yoga, meditation and incredible women who arrived open, excited and ready to reconnect with themselves.

And instead of serving coffee or juice, we served something different…

HERBAL TEA — MINERALS IN A CUP. 🍵🌿

Because sometimes your body doesn't need another stimulant first thing in the morning.

It needs nourishment.
It needs stillness.
It needs connection.

Meditation is not simply sitting quietly with your eyes closed. With regular practice, it can help train your brain to sustain attention, reduce stress, quiet racing thoughts, support emotional balance and help calm the nervous system.

And imagine combining that with:

🌿 Herbs
🥗 Nourishing food
☀️ Sunlight
🧘🏾‍♀️ Meditation
🫁 Conscious breathing
💧 Proper hydration
🏃🏾‍♀️ Movement
😴 Rest and quality sleep
❤️ Healthy relationships and community

THAT is what a holistic approach looks like.

Not one herb.
Not one supplement.
Not one meditation session.
Not one “miracle” solution.

Your body is a whole system — body, mind and spirit.

And while herbs, meditation, food or sunlight alone won't magically fix everything, each can become part of the environment in which your body is better supported to function, recover and find balance.

Maybe healing doesn't always have to be about doing more.

Maybe sometimes…
