Year after year I would make some chilli chutney and sauce for my husband and father to enjoy. It became a great hit at braai’s and social get togethers. A lot of people approached said to me that I should make and sell the chilli products I make. The reason was they loved it because of the taste and flavour; and not the burning sensation of the chillies…… So…
ER chilli started in December 2020
as a hobby project and took off from there, much bigger than we ever anticipated. We had to get some help, from friends and family. Together we worked and created chilli products from extra mild to deadly hot in heat but full of flavour. Now we are a small business situated in the East Rand producing a wide variety of products. We do chutneys, sauces, toums, mayonnaises, pickles and achars. We also started selling chilli seeds on a big scale and recently began selling plants and seedlings. We use regular well known chillies and also the more exotic chillies in our products and produce up to three hundred (300) bottles per month. Our products are consumed by customers all over South Africa in all the provinces and we also have customers living in Sierra Leone. You can email us to get more information about our products.
