In our farm kitchen we carefully separate a portion of whey from the curds which gives us the natural creamy thickness of our mousse-like yoghurt. Most importantly, the raw milk is antibiotic and hormone free, and has no additives. It’s a myth that because the yoghurt has no preservatives it won’t last long. If the cold chain is maintained the yoghurt will last for a good 2.5 weeks in the sealed container, however it should be used within 5 days once opened! Farm Yoghurt is sold at various deli’s in and around Cape Town, to name a few – Melissas Food Shops, Joostenberg Deli, Vineyard Deli, several Food Lovers Markets, Spars, SuperSpars and still growing. We have the privilege of the yoghurt being served at various restaurants and hotels as part of their breakfast menus or as an accompaniment to various dishes and also to bake with.
