If you’ve been to the Vegan Goods Market x Thrift Fest , you know that the first thing waiting to greet you at the entrance is the irresistible aroma of fresh bakes from Clarence, The Bread Baker Extraordinaire. 🥖✨

From sweet to savoury, soft to crunchy, his table is basically a pastry playground:

🌿 herb-filled breads
…and plenty more deliciousness to tempt you.

One bite and you get that warm, comforting, freshly-baked feeling that just hits different. And honestly, even when Clarence pops up at other markets, you can spot that iconic table from a mile away. 😂

Some days are too beautiful not to relive. ☀️💚

Through the lens of one of our OG VGM supporters, Cassandra Bright , we’re transported back to a Sunday that felt more like summer than the middle of winter.🌞

From the morning golden light spilling over the mountains and vineyards, to the smiling faces, bustling vendors, cosy corners, and the beautiful moments shared throughout the market, these photos perfectly capture the magic that makes VGM feel like home.

It’s never just about the food or the shopping. It’s about the people, the conversations, the community, and those little moments that stay with you long after the market ends.

Get your groceries, good food, drinks as well as home and body products from a wonderful variety of small businesses that are excited to share their cruelty-free products and services with YOU. Then when you thought the sustainable experience was over, you pop over to the Thrift Fest Stalls to shop from a curated selection of goods (thrift and hand made) right next door to our market!

WHAT ELSE CAN YOU EXPECT?:
🌱 A WIDE variety of delicious vegan food & beverages (sweet AND savory).
🌱Local, handcrafted & cruelty-free home & body products.
🌱 Lots of shade and seating.
🌱Ample parking facilities.
🌱 Play stations and games for the kiddies - all supervised.

🌱 Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards.
🌱 Animal adoption + fostering opportunities.

DOGGIES AT THE MARKET:
We love having the doggies at our space, but we ask that you please keep your dog on a leash and outside the main market marquee as they need to be kept away from food, fresh produce, plants and other home & body products. We always suggest bringing a buddy who can sit/walk with your doggie while you browse and vice versa.
The market has always been a safe space for many of us. We want to make sure that it continues to be a safe space for everyone 🤗🌸🌱

🌲 Started in the forest… ended with full tummies. We’d call that a pretty perfect Sunday. 🐶🌿

One of our favourite VGM couples, Chelsey Kayla & Magik , kicked off their day with a beautiful walk through Tokai Forest with their furry companions before wandering across the road to spend the rest of their Sunday at the market.💚

Their foodie trail looked a little something like this:

🍬 Gelatine-free jellies from Crystal Jellies
🥟 A stop at Petrucia Heldsinger
🥢 Delicious dim sum from Nigiro Teacafe

🐶 Bring a friend or family member so you can take turns browsing while your pup enjoys a little stroll.
