Trained as a Commercial Helicopter and Fixed Wing pilot with +-8years of bush-flying experience mainly within Mozambique and surroundings. The isolation of many projects Claude has worked with has also been the inspiration to make the farm 100% sustainable no matter how easy it is to do otherwise. Claude has been growing organically for the past 3years an
d takes inspiration from trips to Babylonstoren, Shirley Wallington and a memorable experience at an Oppenheimer course on symbiotic growing essentially based on animal/vegetable mutually beneficial relationships. Claude works on the farm in between flying contracts and strives to provide the farm with newer, tastier and healthier produce through hard hands-on work and up to date research in the field of organic growing. Claude is always on the lookout for new colours in the vegetable world and enjoys cooking up new recipes using new vegetables from all over the globe.
