Feinschmecker has existed in its present form since 1983. The company started out with the name Polony King and operated us such for many years. Recently the trading name has been amended to Feinschmecker (Pty) Ltd in order to more reflect the premium quality of the products produced. Over the years it has built up a formidable reputation as the market leader in its industry. Towards the end of 20

12 a depot was opened in Cape Town in order to improve service levels in the Western Cape. Feinschmecker prides itself as being the only supplier not to use MDM (mechanically deboned meat), MSG or any off-cuts in production. Our recipes all resonate from continental Europe and are implemented in the traditional way. This includes smoking with natural wood-chips. No production is outsourced and we procure only the finest ingredients from recognised suppliers. See our food safety page.The company is unique in that it is owner run. We service the smallest restaurant to the biggest chain store with equal enthusiasm.
