Locals and visitor love coming to the market to catch up, have a bite to eat and drink as well as shop. The Market is child and dog friendly and we make every effort to make your visit a memorable one. Our Market has an amazing

array of fresh organic produce, home made delicacies, artisan breads, probiotic yoghurts, hand made cheeses, home smoked fish, happy hen eggs, wheat-free bakes, gourmet food stuffs and loads more. We also have a whole variety of arts & crafts such as jewellery, children's clothing and toys, furniture, bags, art and loads more as well as live music, plants, flowers, books and all things that are good for your health and happiness! Since we live in a thriving wine region we are fully licenced and delicious local beers and wine are available. From small beginnings in 2006 the market has grown to over 70 permanent traders and is located in a beautiful setting at the Hermanus Cricket Club. Traders all come from the greater Overstrand area, giving the market a truly local feel. As market organisers and traders we try our utmost to run the market according to eco-friendly principles, and are committed to creating a wholesome experience with a minimal impact on the environment. Come and join us every Saturday between 09:00 and 14:00 at the Hermanus Cricket Club for morning of feel-good fun.

ATTENTION ALL HUSBANDS: You know what to come and do tomorrow at the market (yes, there is art, jewellery and amazing bubbles).

It seems that we have been asleep on social media (there is a guy to blame, the long hair one with the camera, you can have a sip of his bubbles tomorrow🤪).

Easter weekend might be done and dusted, but don't even think about sleeping in on Saturdays. 😄

The Hermanus Country Market is open EVERY Saturday, 9am to 2pm, and we're just getting warmed up. Better food, better vibes, better everything. Awesome traders, awesome families, awesome friends, cold beer, good wine, banging DJ's and the kind of people that make your weekend worth waking up for.
