Wholesome Harvest We provide animal products that are free range and hormone free. Traceability to farm of origin. A wide range of other "healthy foods" available as well.

We sell free range beef, chicken, pork, lamb and eggs mostly on an order basis. All farmers are handpicked to ensure that they are committed to farming honest, healthy free range animals. Some wonderful additions are raw honey, raw dairy products, and quality olive - and coconut oil. Also available are nuts and dried fruit as well as quality Banting products.

My prayer is that you will have a blessed 2024, that your life will have peace that surpasses all understanding, wisdom for everyday life, grit to see through the hardships and challenges, and fun to help you relax and laugh!

Chicken Braai Rub @ R70 for 50g

Chicken Braai Rub is a blend of organic spices, perfectly balanced to bring out the flavour in grilled poultry and other white meat or fish. Works equally well on spatchcocks or pieces.
Use about 1 tbsp of seasoning per 500g of meat. Add salt to taste

Ingredients - Smoked paprika, Cumin, Cayenne pepper, Coriander seeds, Black pepper, Sage, Thyme, Marjoram, Rosemary, Nutmeg.

BBQ Best @ R55 per 70g

BBQ Best is a blend that balances the zing of spices and the zest of herbs with a dash of salt to add layers of flavour to any braai. Delicious when grilling meat, chicken, fish or vegetables. Add to enhance mincemeat and burgers.
Sprinkle on French fries, salads and pasta dishes. Use as a dry rub or mix with olive oil to baste your favourite cuts on the roasts.

Ingredients - Sweet paprika, Black pepper, Garlic nibs, Onion flakes, Himalayan salt, White pepper, Cayenne pepper, Sweet basil, Thyme, Oregano.

Herb Braai Rub is a blend of organic herbs and spices to add zing to meat, fish and vegetables. Perfectly balanced to enliven the flavour of whatever you decide to grill. Use about 1 tbsp of seasoning per 500g of meat. Add salt to taste.

Grilled Chicken Drumsticks

• 1 ½ tsp Dried Rosemary (Organic Refill @ R25)
• 1 ½ tasp Dried Thyme (Organic Refill @ R20)
• 2 Garlic Cloves minced (Garlic Powder @ R43 per bottle)
• 1 Tbsp unsalted butter melted (R125 for 500g from Mooberry)
• Himalayan salt to taste (R40 per kg – fine or course)
• Freshly crushed black pepper to taste (Organic Refill @ R45)
• 8 Organic Drumstics/Legs

(You can replacer the herbs with freshly chopped herbs – 1 tablespoon each)

1. In a large bowl, add all of the ingredients except the drums in a bowl and mix until well combined. Add the drums and coat until well combined with the marinade. You can marinade this for 24 hours or shorter in the fridge, or just use as is if you do not have enough time to marinade.
2. Preheat the oven to 180 – place drums in an oven container (I use glass) and bake for 30 – 60 minutes until cooked through and crispy on the outside.
3. Alternatively use this on the braai 😊
