We have roast chicken and mushroom, madras chicken, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and chatsworth chicken pies available! Single boxes of chicken pies for R200.
The marandh sellu chicken curry pie…. This curry has become one of our best sellers and the filling encased in our pure butter puff is just amazing.
There is Chicken Tikka masala with marinated tikka grilled over hot coal simmered in a silky masala sauce and a ‘Chatsworth Chicken Curry’ pie which is a home style chicken curry made with thigh fillets and melting potatoes - it’s been keeping us on our toes! We also have a home style braised chicken curry pie.
There is a traditional lamb vindaloo pie to the range and it’s been selling out almost every day. The lamb is marinated in a homemade Goan spice paste and slow cooked to tender perfection. Other lamb options include braised mutton and potato, posh roasted lamb pasties, curried lamb mince and braised lamb and cabbage. Lamb pies are R225 per box of 4.
The pies are packed with filling and we use the best quality and choice cuts of meat in all home made butter puff pastry. Any 2 boxes (8 pies) of 1 lamb and 1 chicken, or 2 boxes lamb for R400 - 2 boxes of chicken pies (8 pies) for R360. This gives our clients an opportunity to stock up.

PS- we do a start to finish quality pie that begins with us making the pastry with real butter, not a substitute fat or margarine. Lamb pies are made with leg of lamb and we do not use offcuts and pie meat to produce the range. Peppered Steak pies are made with fillet only - no other cut is used as this ensures we have tender cuts and not the standard chewy meat. Chicken pies use tender breast fillet or deboned roasted chicken and the chatsworth chicken pies are made with thigh fillets. We are constantly made aware that a garage shop pie costs R20 (posted a while ago but they’re over R35 now) and we do not produce that sort of product. If it’s a quality pie made the old fashioned way that you’re looking for, pop in and try them out. We don’t produce a commercial low cost pie and won’t be doing so ever. Pies like all things that exist and produced are not made equal. ❤️
