WE ARE HIRING: PROFESSIONAL CODE 14 DRIVERS (CROSS-BORDER & LOCAL)
We are looking for Professional Drivers who are willing to do cross-border trips to Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Eswatini (Swaziland), Mozambique (Maputo), DRC (Lubumbashi) and within South Africa.
It doesn't matter where you are from, as long as you have all the required documents.
The ideal candidate must have a valid Code 14 driver's license and extensive experience operating heavy trucks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Safely operate heavy motor vehicles, including trucks and trailers, ensuring all legal and safety requirements are met.
• Deliver goods and materials to specified destinations as scheduled, maintaining timely and accurate delivery.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle before and after trips. Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the maintenance team promptly.
• Ensure that goods are correctly loaded and secured to prevent damage during transit. Assist with the loading and unloading process as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, delivery times, and any incidents or delays encountered during trips.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company regulations, including road safety and environmental policies.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
• Matric
• Valid Code 14 driver's license and PrDP
• 4+years of experience as a Code 14 Driver
• Must have basic knowledge and be able to hook and unhook trailers from the horse
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and navigation skills
• Physically able to lift and move cargo if required
