Warm up colder mornings with Kgomi's Kitchen's shakshuka and The Bakery bread 🥘 When the air turns crisp, this recipe is pure comfort in a pan – best served with toasted ciabatta or sourdough slices for dipping.

INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 onion; chopped
2 tsp. crushed garlic
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tsp. ground cumin
½ tsp. chilli powder
2 cans diced tomatoes
2 tbsp. sugar
5 large eggs
Salt and ground pepper
50g feta cheese
Red chilli flakes, to serve
Parsley, to serve

METHOD:
1. In a large skillet with a lid, add cooking oil, and heat on medium-high heat.
2. Add the onions and cook until translucent.
3. Next, add the garlic, paprika, ground cumin and chilli powder, stir to combine.
4. Once garlic is fragrant, add the canned tomato and sugar, then simmer until the tomatoes are softened.
5. Lower the heat to low, then make 5 indentations in the sauce.
6. Crack an egg in each indentation.
7. Top each egg with salt and pepper.
8. Cover the pan with the lid and cook until eggs are to your liking.
9. Remove pan from heat and top with chilli flakes, feta cheese and parsley.

A must-try Steak Trinchado recipe, low on fuss (and dishes) and BIG on comfort. Tender braised Steakhouse Classic Rump served with Portuguese rolls and crisp green beans for the ultimate easy meal.

INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp. (30ml) oil
500g–600g Steakhouse Classic Rump; cubed
1 tub trinchado paste of choice
1 packet fine green beans
1 tbsp. (15m) olive oil
2 tbsp. (30ml) fresh parsley; chopped
4 heat-and-eat Portuguese rolls

METHOD:
1. Heat a large saucepan over high heat, add the oil and sear the steak cubes until golden all around – about 2 minutes per side.
2. Add the trinchado sauce and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes.
3. To cook the beans, add them to a pan with ½ cup boiling water and a generous sprinkle of salt. Let them simmer for 5 minutes, drain the water and add 2 tbsp. olive oil. Sauté for 5 minutes.
4. Heat the Portuguese rolls in a pre-heated oven of 180°C for 8–10 minutes.
5. Serve trinchado sprinkled with fresh parsley.

These overnight oats: the only valid reason to get out of bed on cold mornings 🍊 Obsessed with this Chocolate and Naartjie Overnight Oats recipe by The Nourished Mom

INGREDIENTS:
40g oats
1 tsp. chia seeds
100g low-fat plain cottage cheese
60g Greek-style yoghurt
1–2 sweeteners, to taste
1 Tango Fruit; peeled, halved, and roughly chopped
100ml skim milk
1 tbsp. cocoa powder
2–3 tbsp. water

METHOD:
1. Stir together oats, chia seeds, cottage cheese, yoghurt, sweetener, milk, and Tango in a bowl until well mixed.
2. In a separate bowl, mix cocoa powder and add water until it is a pouring consistency.
3. Pour the cocoa ganache on top of the oats, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
