Shock as 2 married Sisk men arrested for repeatedly ra**ng girl (9)

MIDWEEK REPORTER
MASVINGO-A nine year old girl who was paying the price of coming from a broken family had her alleged rapists arrested this afternoon after she reported the abuse to her paternal relatives.
A close source told The Midweek Watch that two married men from Sisk area of Mucheke who stay in Third Street have been accounted for this afternoon after the girl revealed the abuse to her father’s relatives.
“The two men would allegedly r**e the girl each time they find the mother of the child not at home, they were all in love with the mother who is a s*x worker at Sisk Business Centre. The abuse allegedly started this year and has been going on until last week when the girl went to her father in Manyama area after being chased away by the mother,” said the informant on condition of anonymity for professional reasons.
The two men were identified as Owen and Mark Taweni and one of them is a security guard while the other is unemployed.
The source told The Midweek Watch that the girl’s parents are divorced and her grandparents are also divorced.
“She has been staying with her grandmother but when the grandmother remarried she was forced by the new husband to leave and she went on to stay with her mother who is a s*x worker and that is when she ended up being abused by the two cruel men.
“Last week her mother forced her to go to her father’s parents in Manyama and that is where she revealed her disturbing story leading the arrest of the two,” he said.
Efforts to get a comment from Masvingo Province ZRP spokesperson Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa were fruitless as his mobile phone was unavailable by the time of posting this story.
