π WHAT YOUβLL NEED:
π 800g chicken pieces
π₯£ 250g brown lentils
π§
1 large onion
π§ 3 garlic cloves
π« 2cm fresh ginger
πΆοΈ 2 tbsp curry powder
β¨ 1 tsp turmeric

400g canned chopped tomatoes
π₯£ 500ml chicken stock
π« 2 tbsp cooking oil
π§ Salt & black pepper, to taste
πΏ Fresh coriander
π©βπ³ LETβS COOK:
1οΈβ£ Rinse the lentils. Chop the onion, mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
2οΈβ£ Heat the oil and cook the onion for 5β7 mins until soft.
3οΈβ£ Add the garlic and ginger, then stir in the curry powder and turmeric for 30 seconds.
4οΈβ£ Add the chicken, season and brown lightly for about 5 mins.
5οΈβ£ Add the tomatoes, stock and lentils. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 30β35 mins until the chicken is cooked and the lentils are tender.
6οΈβ£ Stir occasionally and add a little extra water or stock if needed.
7οΈβ£ Finish with fresh coriander and serve with basmati rice or warm roti. ππ
