For a relaxed, family-friendly escape in the heart of the Stellenbosch winelands, discover Tokara Delicatessen beside the olive groves.

Framed by glass walls and sweeping mountain views, with a cosy fireplace for cooler days, it’s the perfect setting from morning through to afternoon.

Start with a leisurely breakfast or brunch, settle in for seasonal bistro-style lunches, or simply stop by for wood-fired pizza, generous platters, coffee and pastries. Before heading home, browse the deli shelves for artisanal breads, local cheeses, preserves, olive products and gourmet pantry favourites.

Our olive harvest has begun.

Yesterday marked the first picking of the season at Tokara — a moment that continues a journey started in 2001, when a vision to craft world-class extra virgin olive oil first took root.

Grown in a unique Simonsberg terroir of cool climate, clay-rich soils, and ocean-cooled breezes, each olive is carefully hand-harvested and crafted with precision. From Frantoio to Coratina, Leccino and Mission, every cultivar plays its part in shaping the character of Tokara’s Extra Virgin Olive oils.

A new season, the same commitment to quality in every drop.
