One of our little miracle makers.
Our mission is simple. To provide the finest quality honey we can. Every step along the way keeps this in mind, which is why we pack our honey in bottles. No nasty petroleum leaching into our product. To this end we practice natural beekeeping. This means no chemical treatments. No feeding of sugar water to the bees. No introduced wax from any source, other than that made by our own bees, which removes the contamination buildup of pesticides from imported wax products.
All our honey is from 100% virgin wax made by our bees to store the honey we produce.
We remove the entire comb from the hive and use the crush and strain method to harvest the honey. This means we breakup the comb and allow the honey to drain from wax. The important aromatics that are lost in the normal centrifugal method are retained giving our honey a beautiful flavour reflecting the plants the bees have visited whilst gathering the nectar.
All wax products are from 100% virgin wax after the extraction process.
