The story

Hoekkraaltjie is a family owned boutique goats milk cheese and quail products farm, where great pride is taken in the uncompromising approach to ensure unique quality products.The farm is located outside the picturesque West Coast town, Yzerfontein, about 80 km from Cape Town.

The Burden Family - a combination of entrepreneurs, innovators, farmers and cheesemakers, moved to Yzerfontein November 2016 and since established several successful businesses that not only serve and support the locals but the entire West Coast to Swartland area as well.

Their modest approach has the team at Hoekkraaltjie continually discovering and experimenting with ways to produce the tastiest goat’s cheeses in the region.

Hoekkraaltjie recently joined forces with Shamba La Famililia Farm, a family owned farm located on the outskirts of Atlantis.
