Am a very big fan of Chile One and Yo Maps
Wonder why some don't feel the same about both guys
These two guys are completely different and both are good in their own ways. Their sounds don't even sound the same to be compared but since the matter on the table is finding the difference between the two let's dive into it.
Yo Maps is one of the most outstanding and sensational singer and we can't write off that from him. His records speak for it self. He understands the sounds Zambians want and when he drops it's magical. He is the first artist with most of the club bangers in the history of Zambian music. He can be on number one up to 10 on the Top 10 Hit songs in Zambia if he wants😁 Savage.
Sadly his music doesn't stand a quality of time because it's too monotonous and plays in each and every household. A lot of people hate him because of his family of which, they get attacked regularly, but again that's normal when you are a celebrity.
The best way is to ignore some the backlash for professional sake. A celebrity doesn't have to respond to every dog barking.
For Chile One who broke through with his sensational hit jam, that did nothing but putting a lot of money in his pockets. He proved everyone wrong by dropping hits after hits with millions of streams on YouTube and not the freaking Boomplay. He proved masses to be the man, and stands tall when others expect him to sit.
He is exceptional in his way, Chile One's music has reached towns and villages, they don't make too much noise but they stand a good taste of time. He is stepped on like a red carpet several times but he is a talent you can't kill.
Yo Maps broke through in 2018 with a hit done by Jemax titled Mapalo and he has 1.7Million Facebook followers while Chile One came through in 2022 with a hit song titled Fwebakuchaume and he's over 700k followers
