Can you spot the little white and black dog in this car? The vehicle was parked at Groombridge Shopping Centre in full sunlight at about 1430, and the high-pitched barking of the dog in the car alerted several people in the car park. After an announcement over the PA in the supermarket, a lady appeared at the desk.
Apparently, she was shopping quickly.
Well, here are some facts.
HOW FAST CARS HEAT UP
10 minutes: The temperature can rise by 10° even with windows slightly open. The temperature was 26°
Within 30 minutes, a car can turn into an oven.
Whilst forced to breathe superheated air inside a car, the dog's temperature spirals upwards.
SEVERE RISKS
In as little as 15 minutes, a dog can suffer from HEARSTROKE BRAIN DAMAGE, MULTI ORGAN FAILURE.
