PEARSON BANDA is a Director/owner of SIMPLY FRESH, a Zimbabwean based horticulture and floriculture operation involved in supplying fresh Zimbabwean produce to the local market with future short term plans to enter into the regional market and long term plans of the lucrative international market. The operations involved in SIMPLY FRESH include two farming operations (SABONABONA and BARTINA FARM a
ll based in Kadoma) for production, packsheds and marketing. This dynamic setup ensures our quality products reach our clientele by the most effective and efficient means possible with special emphasis on cold chain management. SIMPLY FRESH caters for the discerning customer and is able to supply a variety of seasonal horticultural products as well as a comprehensive range of small intermediate roses to our clients specifications. All our operations will soon be registered with a number of internationally recognised certification bodies specifically GlobalGAP, Fairtrade, MPS-ECAS and Sedex. The farming operations are also involved in developing emerging farmers through out grower programmes. Sabonabona project manages the out grower programmes to ensure that the produce supplied conforms to the requirements of the various certification bodies. This operation is two-fold; firstly the outgrowers' produce is traceable and secondly the emerging farmers are encouraged and enabled to become effective and efficient farmers.
