Umami and chocolate? It’s a thing 🍫 Recipe below!
This fudgy mug cake gets it's sweet and salty umami twist from our ✨NEW✨ Soy Not Soy Sauce.
You won’t taste it, but it brings out the richness of the chocolate (ummmm yessss)...
Made from fermented coconut blossom nectar, it's gluten-free, soy free and now available at select Woolies stores.
SOY FREE UMAMI FUDGY VEGAN MUG CAKE
Recipe by
~You’ll Need~
2 tbsp raw cacao powder
2 tbsp vegan chocolate protein powder
2 tbsp self-raising flour
2 tbsp Niulife Organic Coconut Sugar
¼ cup plant-based milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp Niulife Soy Not Soy Sauce
1 tbsp melted Niulife Coconut Oil
3 tbsp chocolate chips or chopped vegan chocolate
~Make It~
Add cacao powder, protein powder, flour and coconut sugar to a bowl. Stir to combine.
Add plant milk, vanilla, Soy Not Soy Sauce and melted coconut oil. Mix until smooth and a thick batter forms.
Fold through chocolate chips, saving a few for the top.
Microwave for 60–80 secs. You want it soft and slightly gooey in the centre.
