Gussie's Kitchen We currently support people with food insecurity We support our community by providing many different services. There are many more services to add to the list.

Gussies Community is made up of a number of amazing volunteers who support the needs of those that live within the area we are based - Rother Ward, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Gussies Pantry Shop - supporting those households experiencing food insecurity. Gussies Kitchen Café - providing a social eating experience. Gussies Jumble Shop - Recycling clothing and household items. The RAY Programme - Rot

her Active Youth, which provides the young people within our area FREE activities to take part in, in every school holiday. Langer Field Park Community Group - providing a yearly gala for our community to come together once a year and looks after the interests of our park. Friends of SAGE (SS Augustine Garden Escape) - a group of volunteers working together to make the back of our wonderful church a more relaxing place. We are a forever growing community and welcome new volunteers throughout the year and are there for anyone that needs us. Please do not hesitate to message us if you wish to learn more about what we do.

To all current members, a reminder that this Wednesday our new prices will come into force.

All those that have visited us since the beginning of July will have been given the below information and have signed a confirmation slip to demonstrate you have been informed.

Can local residents please stop placing dog poo bags into our blue recycling bin!

We pride ourselves in recycling all the packaging from the food we provide our members, however if the refuse collectors see the bins contaminated with items that can be recycled they will not take them and then we are left with an issue.

There is a poo bin at the back of the church like the one pictured. Please use the correct bin in future! We do have cameras to check who is doing this if it persists.

Another huge thank you goes out to the Hollymoorside Ladies Club for inviting us to their meeting last night.

We were able to talk about our history and the work we do and they collected a trolley full of donations for the pantry as well as £70 in cash donations.

It was lovely to be able to visit and we welcome the ladies to come and visit at any time.
