We have an exciting line up for our next two Mill Around Town Events! Grateful Table will host an art show featuring the work of Peter Schreiner and live music: Peter is an Asheville-based artist & musician whose work is influenced by nature, sound, architecture, cultural detritus & psychedelia.
* Opening reception Friday, May 29, 2026 6-9pm. Music by Shaun Nicklin from 6-8pm.
* Closing reception June 26, 2026, 6-9pm. Music by Dutch Seismic/Thousand Arrows. Both of these are Schreinerā€™s own musical monikers, and he will perform synth and guitar-based music to complement the paintings.

On May 29 from 6-8 pm at Grateful Table: enjoy live music by Shaun Nicklin who is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Brevard, NC. He plays guitar, banjo, dobro, and pedal steel. Shaun has recorded two albums of original songs and plays in Asheville based Red Clay Revival and Stink Bug Bourbon Band. During solo sets, Shaun sings acoustic favorites from bluegrass, classic country, rock and popular contemporary music. He also plays instrumental Appalachian, bluegrass and gypsy-jazz on dobro and banjo.
