The Alternative Kitchen is pleased to offer gluten free and now some dairy/gluten free baked items to those in the local areas in Cheboygan and Emmet counties in northern Michigan. I offer a wide range of items to help with all your gluten free needs. The gluten free foods offered in some of the retail places taste so so, but lack that home fresh feel and taste that we miss out on when avoiding gl

uten. I only bake from scratch from my own flour blends made from certified gluten free flours. Some of my flours I grind myself like oat and toasted sorghum. I do not use bean or soy flours because they tend to give a "green" taste to items. I only use nut flours in specific recipes.
