ALWAYS WASH YOUR BERRIES! 🍓🫐
When we process berries for freeze drying we always triple wash. First with a Baking Soda solution to help remove dirt and other nasty stuff, followed by 2 cold rinses. (More if needed)
If we won't eat it, we don't want you to eat it. 😋
Below are pictures I took today when I was working on strawberries. It shows the dirt that was removed after the triple wash.
