Has anyone noticed a low humming noise around Sycamore? It has been going on for a few weeks and is especially noticeable at night (when there is less ambient noise) like a low bass subwoofer constantly pulsing? Sounds like the constant drone of machinery or the vibration of a train (but it is definitely not a train) I initially thought it was my refrigerator or a fan, but it is not. I actually went out driving at 4am to try to locate the source (unsuccessfully) with a tool (phone app) to analyze the frequency. It was noticeable as far as 1 mile south of Sycamore (Shuleski Scout Camp) all the way up to 224. Maybe it's just me, but the tool I used said it was around 80 -100 HZ and consistently around 30 decibels. I'd be curious if anyone else has noticed or might know what this is from. Thanks! We are closed for the season! Thanks to everyone that stopped at the stand or market for your veggie and egg needs. Message or text us if you need any sweet onions, hot sauce($8), strawberry lime coconut jam($5), orange rhubarb jam($5), elderberry jelly($8), hot pepper butter($5), dried bruschetta mix($5), and dried sausage blend($4).

Eggs have slowed because of the onset of colder weather. We have new birds about to lay so keep watching us for an increase in eggs!

More veggies will be out so get them Thurs -Sat 9-7 before the frost! Kelly picked some green beans tonight so bags will be in the cooler with the cucumbers! There will also be sweet onions, bell peppers, banana peppers, jalapenos, tomatoes, and cherry tomatoes.

This week is it for veggies because the frost is coming! Come Wed-Sat 9-7 to get the last of the tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, banana peppers, jalapenos, sweet onions, green beans, and cucumbers (no green beans on Wed, but we should have some bags out later this week).

Cucumbers???? The second crop just started producing right before the frost. Lol. They are crispy and delicious and there will be some in the small cooler.

Get some veggies while you can Wed -Sat this week! The garden and chickens are winding down for the season so green beans, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, jalapenos, banana peppers, cherry tomatoes, and eggs won't be out there for much longer. (We are out of garlic for the year.). Let us know if you want us to put together a bag of goodies for you!

Wagon is ready so get your veggies Wed-Sat 9-7! We have bags of green beans in the little cooler, bell peppers, banana peppers, jalapenos, sweet onions, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, garlic and eggs.

Come and get some prize winning produce Wed-Sat 9-7! Kelly got reserve best of show for large red tomatoes, third best of show for jalapenos, 15 first places, 9 second places, and 6 third places at the Wyandot County Fair!

Come get sweet onions, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, giant jalapenos, banana peppers, garlic, green beans and eggs!

First place veggies: sweet, red, and white onions, red and white potatoes, largest potato, largest turnip, large red tomatoes, orange tomatoes, cayenne, banana, jalapenos, orange, dried chamomile, and dried onions!

We have some happy healthy hens who are about 3 years old looking for a new home. They are gentle and used to children. We are not asking for any money for them, just a good home. I think we have about 15-20 of them. Some are Brahmas, 2 or 3 Olive Eggers, and a handful of Buckeye hybrids. As our population ages we rehome them so we can keep production up for business at the stand with younger birds. They would be great for someone who does want to go through the hassle of raising chicks. : ) Let us know if you would like to have some chickens!

Apparently I should have brought out two baskets to pick the beans!

Picked 3/4 bushel of organically grown Blue Lake Pole Green Beans. Price is $37 for 3/4 or $25 for just a half.

We can leave them in a cooler at the stand and you can pickup at your convenience.
