We want to be the best at what we do. And the best way to do that is to be small until we have the resources to grow. So we designed 1212 a season-edit of 12 products dropped online every 12 weeks. Nine products will be made by us and three made by our friends. By releasing small collections we can keep our stock fresh, minimise waste, observe the change of seasons and availability of the best produce. It will give us the space and time to learn and to create. Keeping us agile enough to change operations and procedures to make us better at what we do for you, our producers and the environment.

Less than 24 hours to go.

I wanted to take a minute to stop and reflect, because this campaign has been something.

We hit 100% funded in just 3 days. Today we’re sitting at over 146%, and I’m hoping to land around 177% by the finish line so I don’t land back into the red.

To everyone who pre-ordered a book: thank you. Truly. I can’t wait to get these into your hands and out into the world.

And here’s the thing. If this ends up being my last crowdfund, this is one of the last chances to say you were an angel investor at the very beginning of the Staple Store imprint. That’s pretty cool.

Funding closes 5pm Thursday. They will never be this cheap again. These books are great for TEENAGERS! The ones that like to cook and the ones that have never ever cooked. It is a great way to introduce them to low effort recipes that pack a nutritional punch and get them away from their screens. And if they never use them you will love them anyway.
