To acknowledge National Chocolate Day today, here's a flashback to my 1st ever wedding cake.
2 tiers of chocolate mud cake covered in dark chocolate ganache. Decorated with chocolate sails, chocolate fondant hearts & stars and wire spirals - hand painted in gold.
And to show you how old I am, check out the plastic columns separating the tiers. Such a popular inclusion back-in-the-day!

I've finally typed the last order form and to avoid losing my mind 🤣, CharBella Cakes is officially on hiatus... from new enquiries and orders for the rest of 2026! 🙅‍♀
With some major corporate and VIP orders coming up, I need to save some sanity for December's Christmas rush. Christmas 2026 is in the works, and it's going to be a smaller but still super sweet catalogue this year 🎄

Last night was the inaugural Macarthur Business Awards.

In a hotly contested group of 30 finalists, CharBella Cakes was awarded #2 Highly Commended. Thank you to all the public who heard the call out on C91.3FM and placed a vote.

For an award to be received on public referrals is an honour, and the fact I ranked higher than a lot of other extremely well known local businesses is very rewarding. . Congratulations to Cake.Biz Narellan on receiving 1st place.
