Tomorrow is a busy day at Austin Kidd Farm and we would love to see you! 🌱🥚

First up, we are hosting a volunteer day at the farm from 9am to 12pm as we work to clean up and refresh our garden beds for the season ahead. If you have been looking for an opportunity to visit the farm, get outside, get your hands dirty, and spend time with the community, tomorrow is the perfect day to join us. No experience needed, just come ready to help and enjoy the farm atmosphere.

We are also celebrating Mother’s Day weekend with a special egg sale at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market from 8am to 12pm. Our farm fresh eggs will be $6 per dozen instead of $8 per dozen for tomorrow only.

We were honored to attend the 15th anniversary celebration of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Food Policy Council ( . Over the years, we have had the opportunity to work alongside this incredible organization in many ways, and we continue to be in awe of the impact they are making across our local food system.

As farmers, it means a great deal to have partners who truly understand our work, advocate for our needs, and stand with us in advancing food system equity. That kind of support does not go unnoticed, and it makes a lasting difference in communities like ours.

Thank you to for your continued leadership and commitment. It was also a pleasure connecting with so many of our community partners who are all working toward the same goal.

Have extra egg cartons? Don’t throw them out. Bring them back to us.

You can return them when you pick up more eggs or just drop them off anytime. We clean and reuse them to cut down on waste and do our part for the environment.

Simple and practical. It helps us take better care of the land we all share.
