Alright folks, this is it, the last chance to get into the store before we close for our Labor Day Break. It’s gonna go fast so come early and often! Our goal is to end the day with a store so empty your voice will echo.

And just a reminder both stores are closed 9/1-9/8 (Ball Sq is closed today) and then reopening on Wednesday 9/9.

Thanks for all the love, being great neighbors, and have a great Labor Day! We’ll see you in September.

Just a heads up folks - it’s time again for our annual end of the summer vacation and we’ll be closing up shop for a week so we can all enjoy those last few days of summer sunshine (and maybe find a few “abandoned” lobster traps to make an epic end of summer meal).

Ball Square Store: Closed Monday 8/31-9/8

Medford St. Store: Closed Tuesday 9/2-9/8

Both stores reopen on Wednesday 9/9!

So pop in over the weekend and fill up on all the essentials to get through the week, and look out for an incredible Dollar Deal Monday (and maybe just maybe a special Dollar Deal Sunday).

Have a great Labor Day, thanks for all the support, and we hope to see you over the weekend!

We don’t have pizza on a bagel, nor do we live under the constant threat of the pizza bagel apocalypse (yet). But we do think this video captures the unhinged excitement over this week’s . The neighborhood may still be standing, but your minds will be blown with these deals. Run down for pizza dough, local tomatoes, peppers and mushrooms! As well as $1 banana bunches, berries, local peaches and more. Stock up today and be prepared for whatever lies ahead.

It’s National Lazy Day and we know that you don’t have the energy to read this caption, and we don’t have motivation to write it. But if you do one thing today take a slow stroll down to the store and check out the specials, because let’s face it Neighborhood Produce is made for the lazy. No parking lot, no endless aisles, just everything you need in one small cozy store, right down the street.

Remember the “2026 is the new 2016” social media trend at the beginning of this year? Well, this week, 10 years ago, Neighborhood Produce started our weekly pop-up at Winter Hill Brewing Company! Obama was still president, “A.I.” was just a movie from 2001, and we were out there 3 days a week from August to Thanksgiving meeting our neighbors, making friends, and suppling the community with fresh fruits and veggies. It would take another year to find and build out our brick-and-mortar location and become your favorite neighborhood grocer, but this is where it all started. Pop down on this to reminisce about those simpler times and experience a little piece of Somerville history in the making. #2016

It’s the age old question - is the tomato a veggie or a fruit? Well of course technically it’s a fruit, but sometimes getting technical is too complicated. Like technically a tomato is a berry, along with bananas, watermelons, grapes, and eggplants, and while we’re on the subject a strawberry isn’t actually a berry, and raspberries and blackberries are stone fruit, and rhubarb is a perennial vegetable … but geez you guys. Let’s just agree to call a spade a spade, okay? Whether you truly believe in fruit or veggie just come down to get in on today’s where both fruits and veggies have an equal chance of being on sale.

How long does it take to run full tilt from New Jersey to Somerville? Team Spain is about to find out on this . The newly minted World Cup Champions took off immediately after the ceremony heading straight for Neighborhood Produce. They’ve been running all night and we expect them to arrive any minute. Pop-down to see the deals, check out the victors, and sn**ch up some fruits and veggies before a hungry and exhausted team Spain clears us out of everything.

For this we have one of these four items on sale. Pop down today to find out which one, but please be careful.
