Former President, former Winter Hill resident, and longtime Neighborhood Produce supporter is celebrating his 63rd birthday today!! Always a forward thinker and ahead of his time, he actually started coming to the store when he lived in the neighborhood 28 years before we even opened!! He never misses a and was at the store early this morning checking out our local peaches. He’ll be in and out all day so pop down to wish him a Happy Birthday, check out the deals, and see why is the last constant in an ever-changing world.

After a nice cooler weekend the summer heat is back on today and tomorrow so we have all the best summertime fruits and veggies on sale for this - tomatoes, zucchini, berries, and of course Lowly’s favorite, corn! Folks, it looks we got a bad case of an early onset heat wave bearing down on us, and the only cure is cool refreshing watermelon, strong drinks made with lemons and limes, and firing up the grill. Luckily we’ve got everything you need on this to help beat the heat without breaking a sweat.

Hey Neighbors! Bobby Mac is back for knife sharpening this Sunday June 1st at our Ball Square store! He’ll be there from 9-2pm. Whatever blade you have Bobby can sharpen it - kitchen knives, scissors, machete, lawn mover blades, swords, harpoons - you name it.

It’s a beautiful day to get your hands dirty and your garden in the ground. Our seedlings have been going fast but we still have a lot of variety at both locations. Grown with love from our friends at we have tomatoes, peppers, squash, broccoli, watermelons, eggplant, herbs, pumpkins, flowers and more. Pots are $4, and trays are $6.
