We have a family farm in Augusta, WV. Owner, Eli Cook has been at this since he was 12 years old. Together with his wife Misty, they bought and established Spring Valley Farm & Orchard in 2003. We have decent volume today at all locations, no flat discounts available. Flavor is improving but not what it was prior to the 7 days of rain. A sprinkle of sugar may be needed. Berry season should extend a few more weeks. Generally the last weeks of the season have the sweetest berries! Thanks, SVF

Did you know Spring Valley Farm was once exclusively open-air farmers markets?

Owner, Eli Cook did his first farmers market in Shepherdstown, WV when he was just 12 years old. At one time, Eli did farmers markets every Tue, Wed, Thurs, Sat and Sun with 3am departures and 5pm returns. He harvested many evenings under truck lights. It wasn't always easy but it was worth it. Today, Eli and his oldest daughter, Mulledy Jane, were at the Dupont Circle farmers market in DC working on this summer’s display. Big thanks to manager Alex on his input as well! SVF teamwork!

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!🇺🇸 We know it’s raining🌧️ but please don’t stay home and think we didnt get anything picked. No way!! We put our rain coats on and have at it.
I’ll leave you with a thought…Why has weather turmed extreme?🤔 This winter was extremely cold, the early spring extremely hot, then extreme freezes, extreme dryness and now this weekend is extremely wet.
Lord, send us some sunny 79 degree days☀️ with mild showers every 4 days. I’m not picky.😉😁
